At Zefiros we are dedicated to preserving the soul of your instrument. As professional oboists with years of experience on stage and in workshops, we understand every note, every vibration and every detail that makes your oboe, English horn or oboe d’amour unique. We are Rubén Gómez Fernández and Roberto Cuervo Álvarez, founders of Zefiros and passionate oboists with more than 20 years of experience in the performance and repair of oboe instruments.
Our story began in conservatory classrooms and concert stages, where we discovered that the lack of oboe repair specialists was affecting the sound quality and durability of these delicate instruments. We decided to combine our musical knowledge with technical training in the best workshops in Europe, specialising in the craft of repair.
